Some Finals
The figures are my ‘Ideal Male and Female’ assignment, learning about the differences of males and females, and learning where the muscles go and proportions, and all that good figure stuff. The comic is my ‘Little Nemo’ assignment where you had to make a page based off of Windsor McCay’s ‘Little Nemo in Slumerland”. Used watercolor, gouache, and ink on board. The second image was an ongoing assignment of doing a composition study almost everyday. I got up to 30 days. They are small digital copies with notes about composition and metaphors on the side. :)
Dean Cornwell Master Copy and some Painting Studies
Alright, I’ve been working on this Dean Cornwell master copy for a while now. Here are two plein airs, one done on a cloudy day, the other on a sunny day. A complex turnaround from my figure class, and a painting of a picture of a sculpture trying out a pick out technique with oil.
